Jennifer McCurdy

Gilded Vortex Vessel

Flame Vessel
Lotus Nest on Dr. Seuss Base

Gilded Magritte's Vessel

Jennifer McCurdy uses porcelain to create her masterpieces. McCurdy has been practicing this art for around twenty-five years which explains how she composes these beautiful structures.  After using the process of throwing the porcelain, she manipulates the material to fit the design she desires. Her process is unique, however she explains in an interview that her work usually is created along the way while working with the piece until she's satisfied with what she sees.

Matthew Chambers

Matthew Chambers’ ceramic abilities display a remarkable amount of talent and discipline.  As shown above, Chambers’ piece is a work of art and demands attention.

Chambers’ compositions are constructed in a way that allows the viewer to weave in and out of the ceramic sculpture.  This spectacle is created with precise measurements that allow him to create these masterpieces.  Within his works of art, the human eye is drawn deep into the clay.  The shapes of the objects contain a smooth yet rough texture.  The ways these clay pieces are molded  coexist effortlessly. These samples of Chambers’ work are but a small portion of his great pottery skills.
